My electrical prowess
OK...I know everyone is dying to see the pictures of the ceiling fan I wired, so here they are. Lauren is soooooo impressed with my skills that she is recruiting me to help her with wiring a fan for Mom (this is a first.... me helping Lauren with something construction related!)
It doesn't just look good.....it really works!!!!!

ok....i see the electrical box in the hole but did you use the correct braced one that has 2 arms that attach to two floor joists so the fan motion doesn work it loose?

of course I did! I used a metal brace that nails into the joists
