Frank +Joe

Last week got to ride with bro' Frank. I was hitting Taneum creek ( mountain riding south of cle elum/ ellensburg) and invited him to get out and ride. it was the day of the annual bbq that the cle elum rangers throw for volunteer trail workers, so of course i was there. Frank and i rode with 4 other guys, but after a while we were so far ahead of them and stopping to wait too much that we just kept going kinda' on our own. it was perfect riding weather and clear as coud be, so the views were beautiful. got a couple pictures along the way. afterward, i joined a bunch of my riding buddies at the bbq and had an excellent time.

what is cool is that we have probably the best mountain trail riding in the country. even on a day like we had where it was around 75 degrees out we ran into some snow in a couple places between 5000 and 6000 ft or so. awesome for the end of june.

So Joe and Frank - have the two of you gotten into trouble like you use to when you were growing up? I remember an incident when you decided to blaze your own trail while skiing and the ski patrol had to rescue the two of you from a cliff? Jump off any cliffs lately????
Glad you had an awesome time. Lauren

Uhhh, your memory is leaving you Lauren! Frank was the one that had to be "helped" from the cliff! I went around the hazard and was down at the lodge ( white pass) while all that was going on. Dad, at this point Frank is a good enough rider to be allowed around pools again. in fact, i'll bet he can easily jump that pool with his Honda now ( though we better not bring it up,'else he tries it).
