Bri and I Witnessed History Yesterday
Ok Bri and I decided to take the 4 1/2 hour drive down to DC and be apart of the history. I came away with 2 million more friends and trust me VERY CLOSE if you know what I mean. We started our drive at 2 am and were well aware that all the bridges leading into DC were closing at 2 am. We had no plan of attach not sure what we were going to do either. Bri programmed my Tom-Tom to Arlington VA think we could enter that way. Well let me tell you I LOVE MY TOMTOM. Not only did he get me there but got me all the way to the Capital building about 6:30 am. We parked about 4 blocks away from the Capital building... not to bad right... lol
Ok so now that we had landed there we set out for the adventure not sure what to expect. We were herded like cows to find the mall were the general public can view the teletrons. If you have a fear of being confined or fear of people you had no business being there. I would have to say after about 4 to 4 1/2 hours of being told to go here then there we finally arrived. I have posted some of the pics oh an Bri has a pic of Al Shrarpton he walked right by us and said hello. I have to figure out how I can send my video that I took from my cell phone that you can hear his speech.
OVER ALL I'M GLAD WE WENT... Something Bri can tell her children and grandchildren

COFFEE POWER
First I would like to say Karen and Ron, Anna and Emmy I am so sorry to her about Ted's passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Vycki and the kids you guys are also in my thoughts and prayers for Uncle Pete's passing yesterday.
OK I thought that I would post something about how Bri is doing with her Track season so far.
She is a little more than half way done with the winter season and she is running amazing. Last Saturday she ran at NY in the Hispanic Games which had the best runners from NY, CT, PA and NJ. Bri went into the games hoping to run a 8.29 or better. She came in 4Th over all in a time of 8.32 still her best time this season. Here is a newspaper clipping from yesterday she is in the mean article and also on the right side as Girl Athlete of the week... SORRY I CAN'T DOWNLOAD THE NEWSPAPER IMAGE.... so I added the one from the armory...
Coffee power
Briana Feldhaus has had a great start to the indoor track season, even though some of the meets have been held at some ungodly early hours.
So what is the key to success for the Randolph multi-talented senior?
"A good cup of coffee works," Feldhaus laughed. "Every day, before the meet, I get my coffee. I always have my own. It's very hard to run that early in the morning, so I need something to get me going."
Perhaps the coffee industry can use track athletes as commercial spokespeople.
Feldhaus has been nothing short of brilliant, setting new meet records in the 55-meter hurdles in the Pietrewicz Polar Bear Invitational on New Year's Eve and then the Iron Hills Conference-Iron Division two days later.
Her time of 8.38 in the 55-meter hurdles is the fastest record time in the state this season, according to the performance list compiled by the immortal track legend Ed Grant and Feldhaus helped Randolph post the best time in the state in the shuttle hurdles relay in 33.70.
I hope everyone stays safe and hugs their family very tight and cherish every moment you have with them. I know I always do everyday...
Love you all...
