Missy had Ethans 3rd birthday party a week early this year ( yesterday), and everyone there had a good time, especially the little guys. A pirate theme was set up and Ethan loved it. Here are a few pictures from the shindig.

Well Vycki you are in luck. My neighbor is as anal as you are when it comes to pics on the first day of school and she happened to snap these pictures of my beautiful KID... that’s right I said KID.... so don't say I never put up a picture of her on the first day of school... :) your loving sister Maria

First Day of School

Here is a picture from the midgets first day of school (and yes I will be calling them that until they surpass me in height.....which at Ashleigh's growth rate will be next year!). Sadly I did not make their outfits this year.........one child in particular (ahem ..... Ashleigh) doesn't appreciate my efforts.......imagine that? They picked out their own clothes. I didn't care what they wore just so long as they left the house for a glorious 6 hours.
Oh...I didn't adopt a stray blonde child. That is our neighbor Daniella.

SNOW already!

Frank and family were camping over the long weekend, so I stopped by on sunday to ride with him and Justin. Well, we knew the forecast was cool weather but we ran into a snowstorm at elevations above about 5000ft! August 31 and snowing in the mountains already. we rode for probably an hour in the storm and got pretty wet and cold but soon dropped to lower elevations where it was warmer and dry so ended up drying off eventually. It was good to see and ride with them ( and Tim and Lisa and family). this was a fitting end to the coldest, wettest summer "up" here that I have ever witnessed in 30 years. had a ton of fun though.
