whistler/blackcomb part 2

Ok, so they came out for 6 days and had great weather 5 of the 6. 1 day checking out seattle, 3 days skiing at whistler ( 2010 olympics will be there!), 1 day dirt riding, then 1 day skiing at crystal, wa. ( i did all but the crystal day). as i have said before....whistler is the best in north america and has been for 11 years in a row according to ski magazine. a few more pictures....

hey everyone!! Just wanted to share a little bit about what is happening with us down under, in Australia. We are currently on Magnetic Island and it is great. We are staying in a hostel where we work 3 hrs a day and they provide housing and dinner. It is working out very well for us. We are having a great time here. Here is a little picture to show what it looks like. Simply fantastic... though, it has been rainy the past couple of days. oh well...

Whistler trip '08

Jay Griffith and his daughter Sarah came out to join us for a trip to whistler/blackcomb this week and it was awesome. we took the motorhome up and had it as base camp, while we skiied and skiied! 2 of the 3 days were perfectly sunny and beautiful, and WHAT an place to be with that combination. here are a couple pictures for now, and i will post more tomorrow.

MEET OF CHAMPIONS

Hey guys I just wanted you all to know that Briana made it to the meet of champions... This meet determines where in the state she really ranks... I swear that if you where there you would have thought Vycki and I where stupid JUMPING UP AND DOWN AND SCREAMING when they read the results. Briana went into the meet in 6th place and during her prelim run she was in 2nd place with a personal best time of 8.39. In the final run she came in 3rd BUT what a 3rd place finish it was. We (Vycki and I) have never been so proud of her… Briana time was 8.30. So this is what the school had on there website today.

I guess you all know that Bridget graduated from ASU in December with magna cum laude honors.She had a major in biology and double minors in chemistry and animal science. Here is a photo of her getting her diploma. She has applied to schools of veteranary medicine and is awaiting replies. DAD
