Here's a picture of my newest child. He is 4 years old and follows me everywhere. He is supposed to be a purebred Cocker Spaniel. I got him at a local Humane Society. He had been tied up outside their building all shaggy and matted.
We named him Captain Jack Sparrow. He's got the cutest face!

Well Vycki - I never thought you would actually get a dog - and to adopt one !!!!!! Awesome. Perhaps all of our other brothers and sisters can take your lead and get a dog from the pound.

He loves the kids inspite of the fact that they won't leave him alone. He is pretty mellow...just follows me wherever I go. Who's a good boy??....awww m..,,.mnn,m
That last part was him helping me type...put his big ol' paw on the keyboard.
He is really cute and you will love him. Cockers are great pets, the love everybody. We have 4 "shelter " dogs and 6 "stray" cats and today addeded a stray tabby kitten to the crew.

hey, if anyone WANTS another pet....I can arrange it! i have one dog ( old and mangy full size schnauzer, and 3 stupid cats). the cats have literally peeled the linoleum floor at the seam in the laundry room 2-3 feet, and pulled out insulation from behind the water heater. and yes, they arent locked in there 24/7. so who wants on eh??
