Desert riding 2007

It was a beautiful day in eastern WA. on sunday when Joey and i hit the desert for some dirt riding. we wanted to prep for when we ride similar terrain in 2 weeks at the desert 100 ironman event we always go to. here are a couple of the cool views you see in the area we rode ( central wa, near vantage at mattawa). one is shot from way up on a mesa/ hill that we rode up to and around, and the other looks back up to the very spot from down below where we rode later. pretty cool terrain i must say ( we have been here many times before). the columbia river is in the background and i would say we are 2500-3000 ft up so you can see a hundred miles across flat eastern WA. this kind of riding is neat to do a few times a year and is a far cry from the usual woods/trails/mountain stuff we like best.
